Mr. So manages the overall business and the development of mental and physical training for both individual and corporate clients, from kids, students to senior corporate executives and their family members, at Mental and Physical (MAP) Training Solutions.

Prior to this position, Mr. So has over 25 years’ experience in the scopes of business, accounting and financial studies as an educator, a writer and a consultant. He has been a prolific presenter and frequent seminar speaker on various public examinations and career forums of Hong Kong and Macau.

Mr. So is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants, the Hong Kong Chartered Governance Institute (HKCGI) and the Chartered Governance Institute (UK & Ireland).

Mr. So holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Heriot-Watt University, U.K. He is a certified advanced personal fitness trainer (AASFP), Level 2 Fitness Coach (HKCBBA), children and youth fitness coach (HKCBBA) and calisthenics instructor (HKCBBA). Furthermore, he holds various certified coaches in distance running, bodyweight training, stretching, resistance band and mountain craft. He is also the holders of All Hazards Disaster Response (NAEMT), Advanced Medical Life Support (NAEMT) and First Aid Specialty on Sports Emergencies (HK St. John).

Content Highlights

In this 3-day course, you will be introduced on basic concepts that are essential for making business decisions by entrepreneurs. This workshop is designed for start-ups which may raise finance from different sources such as bank borrowings, capital markets, business angels, government …etc. You will learn the basic concepts for zero-based budgeting for start-ups and skills to become a successful business storyteller to present the finance data to investors. This event will be especially useful and helpful to CUHK start-ups which would like to have a good grasp of key finance concepts to seize the opportunities in coming TSSSU+ scheme and/or other fund raising events.
