CUHK-SCMP Innovation and Entrepreneurship Challenge 2019 is an entrepreneurial initiative which aims to encourage CUHK students to
transform their innovative ideas into impactful startups.
Phase 1
Innovation and Entrepreneurship Certificate Workshop (2 half days)

23 February 2019 (Sat) 2pm-6pm
2 March 2019 (Sat) 2pm-6pm
Venue: Main Campus, The University of Hong Kong (HKU)
Workshop Content:
- What is entrepreneurship?
- Digital marketing strategy & tools
- Go-to-market research tips
- Design thinking method
- How to do a pitch deck?
*Students who have successfully completed the workshop will be awarded a certificate issued by SCMP and CUHK Pi Centre
Phase 2
Start-up Competition
Students will form teams and submit their business ideas
Date: 21 March 2019
Venue: CUHK Campus
Awards:
- 1 year Co-working Space membership at Pi Centre and Tecent Westart
- Green Channel to CUHK Pi Centre Final Interview. Becoming Pi Centre Startup Team will be eligible to apply for startup funding award up to $30,000
- 1 on 1 coaching from well-known mentors
